Work typically includes in-depth assessment of the networked application needs, providing network modeling, prototyping and simulation testing, consulting to further clarify needs to deliver application functionality.
Performs network product engineering assignments, including design, development, documentation and testing of network hardware, firmware, or software products or systems.
Assignments may include development of new products, enhancements, and modifications of existing products.

Business Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services testing engineer responsible for test case/scenario design, test case execution, troubleshooting of issues discovered in testing cooperatively with AT&T and vendor SMEs in problematic areas.
In addition, this position will have responsibility for lab environment management, in particular, configuration of key LAN/WAN/router/voice gateway/CPE equipment.
A qualified candidate must have working knowledge of SIP, SIP-B and IP-CENTREX call flows.
In addition, the qualified candidate will have hands-on knowledge of specific equipment used to connect IP-CENTREX customer sites to VOIP network environments (e.
g., router/Sip proxy/gateway devices).
Hands-on knowledge of SIP phone set-up and configuration is also highly desirable.

Qualifications Required Qualifications: 3-5 years experience in technology development.
Ability to lead multiple projects.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills are a required for this position.
The ability to clearly communicate ideas/issues clearly is essential.
Desired Qualifications: BS degree in Engineering/Math/Science.
Knowledge of IT architecture.
Knowledge of Network Management Systems.
Experience in software design and development.
