Senior Network Engineer (Cisco) Job in Watertown 02472, Massachusetts US
Role: Senior Network Engineer (Cisco)Required: 5-7+ years experience in a Network Engineer capacity.
Strong Cisco background, including implementation, configuration and support.
Experience with enterprise class routers, switches, firewalls and voice systems.
Strong LAN/WAN background.
Experience with routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and MPLS.
Experience with a network that supports at least 50 sites.
BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
Desired: Experience with Cisco's IPCC Express is a plus.
Responsibilities: TheSenior Network Engineer will help lead the design, implementation, anddaily operations of my clients network environment.
This individualwill be responsible for the deployment standard, continued maintenance,and support of all routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers,wireless, and voice equipment.
Additional responsibilities include thefollowing: Design, implement and maintain the local and wide area telecommunications and data networks.
Provide support for network operational trouble/failure resolution on a daily basis.
Design, configure, implement, and support voice (VOIP) related projects.
Create and maintain technical documentation including operational procedures, reference materials, research papers, disaster recovery plans, and training documentation.
