Job Description: In this high-profile position, you become a key member of the Litle & Co. content, communications & creative team.

You are charged with communications strategies and content creation that bring the Litle & Co. brand commitment of service excellence to life across multiple content media.

These will specifically support our product, business development and sales initiatives, as well as brand, client and corporate communications.

You are an agile, dynamic and eloquent communicator, which is reflected in your ability to write superlatively - from compelling product communications that sell product to advertising copy that prompts action.

You are a rock-solid individual contributor who plays well on diverse teams and can talk to communications, product, business development, and technology geeks with equal fervor.

This is a critical, words-on position within a small high-energy, high-output team.

The focus is writing to sell versus writing to inform.

Position Reports to: Director, Corporate Content & Creative - MarketingPartners with: Marketing Program Director; Sr. Designer, Content & Creative; Director, Business Intelligence-Market Strategy; VP, Marketing; Business Development Team; Product Management TeamResponsibilities: Drive and/or lead communications strategy and execution across a range of media Product/Solution- and Vertical-Oriented Marketing Materials: Brochures, partner collateral, data sheets, white papers (throughout leadership), direct mail pieces (hardcopy and e-mail), webinar content, case studies, external FAQs, advertisements, customer newsletters, partner newsletters, hand-outs, surveys, scripts for automated demo, and presentations.

Promotional Campaigns: prospect messaging across multiple media designed to sell versus inform.

PR/AR/Awards: including press releases, bylined articles, analyst communications, award applications.

Web-related: Company Website, Wiki, Intranet, Blogs and Social Media Assets.

External web assets.

Corporate pieces: Company descriptions of varying lengths (including boilerplates, corporate backgrounders, and overviews) for use in corporate collateral and on external websites (such as trade show and other promotional sites).

Internal communication: Company-wide and team-specific e-mail announcements and updates, internal newsletters, speeches for the CEO and other employees, and internal FAQs.

Client Services communications: including service-related communications to our customers, customer newsletters, and merchant community communications for our User Interface.

Requirements: 10+ years of professional writing experience, ideally in corporate marketing and/or product marketing.

"In-house" experience is a must.

Significant experience leading development, creation and execution of content as a member of a product marketing, corporate marketing-communications, PR, editorial, or content/publishing group.

5+ years experience in B2B writing-to-sell for payments organizations, customer service-oriented financial services and/or SaaS-PaaS companies.

Experience as a project manager/lead who can juggle multiple priorities.

Specifically experienced in creating communications strategies and plans that are part of larger marketing communications plans and marketing-advertising flight campaigns.

Substantial work as lead communications counselor and writer within a marketing communications and product communications organization, with an emphasis on ability to uncover and articulate clear value proposition messaging.

Writing experience spans the range from pithy advertising/direct mail/promotional/copy, to value proposition-oriented product communications to thought-provoking white papers.

Outstanding command of written and spoken word.

Exceptional listening skills.

Passion for translating the theoretical/conceptual into the practical/applied.

Comfort with and experience in writing for web, social media and search engine optimization required.

Bright, energetic, highly motivated self-starter.

Nimble, able to manage shifting priorities.

Excellent organizational skills.

Excellent oral and written communications skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT).

Experience with content management systems for web, and creative suite software such as Adobe CS4 is beneficial.

BA in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related field required.

MA/MFA/MBA preferred.

Writing samples will be required for interviewing.
