Walls IndustriesThe Leader in Outdoor Apparel Manufacturinghas an immediate opening for a Senior Manager of Planning and Analysis JOB SUMMARY: A leading Texas based apparel company is looking for a high energy individual with a financial analysis and operations background that seeks the opportunity for exposure at the highest levels of an organization and to work with senior management across the globe on strategic initiatives.
Working directly with C level officers, this individual will have significant responsibility for various aspects of budgeting and financial analysis as well as other projects vital to the success and growth of the company.
In this role the individual will: Have direct responsibility for various aspects of the annual budget, forecasting and general modeling.
Be directly involved in the development, planning and research of business initiatives and M & A considerations.
Undertake specific projects with direct operational control gaining valuable hands on experience and the chance to make recommendations and implement change.
Prepare, reconcile, and analyze data in order to support operational managers; to recommend and work with managers to reach consensus on needed changes and finally, to assist them on implementation.
Create new financial models for complicated ad hoc analysis and forecasting projects utilizing a variety of applications, including Excel, Access, and more.
Gauge business operating units financial knowledge and tailor discussions of technical financial information to the appropriate level of understanding.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE: 4-year degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management MBA or minimum four years progressively complex assignments in financial analysis Must possess advanced financial analytical skills and a good understanding of GAAP Advanced skill level with MS Excel and Access as well as hands-on experience with financial and database software.
Knowledge of AS400 a plus.
Strong interpersonal communications and presentation skills and the ability to multi-task is a must.
Position requires a self starter, willing to work long hours, travel globally, who is willing to get their hands dirty and do what ever it takes.
