The Retail Customer Experience Group is looking for an experienced Senior Manager to deliver key initiatives for our world wide Shoe sites (Endless.

com, Javari.jp). As a Senior Manager the Retail Customer Experience team you will have the unique opportunity to shape and impact Amazon.com global retail initiatives, our products and strategy.

You will be driving large scale software initiatives, with a direct and visible impact on Amazon.com bottom line.

In this role you will be responsible for collecting business and product requirements, writing product specifications, driving the product development schedule from design to release, making appropriate tradeoffs to optimize time-to-market, and clearly communicating goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to cross-functional project teams.

The position will require working closely with category managers, site design, merchandising, to understand their needs while leading your own software development and web development team.

You will also be responsible for managing business relationships as they relate to the products and services developed.

Finally, as a leader within RCX, you will strive to recruit and hire the best, to mentor and develop members of the team that delivers best in class products.

Qualified candidates must have 8 to 12 years of experience with a proven track record of delivering large scale, cross functional projects.

The candidate must have excellent product and project management skills, demonstrated technical aptitude and experience, great analytical skills, strong business judgment, ability to resolve conflicts and set priorities.

Ideal candidate will also have direct and relevant experience in Online Retail, Consumer or eCommerce domains with a deep understanding of what constitutes an effective website, when to use new web and imaging technologies and insights into consumer shopping trends.

The stuff you’ll do includes: Product Definition & Planning: Interact with business stakeholders to design products, write PRDs, estimate & prioritize resources, manage milestones and overall roadmap.

Product Design and interaction: Work with UI and Visual designers to develop interactive web applications that are blazingly fast.

Product Delivery & Support: Manage an agile engineering team prioritize and deliver to an aggressive roadmap .

Support and enhance products with thoughtful and measurable impact.

Measurement & Optimization: Measure impact of delivered features, create multivariate testing scenarios, iterate & optimize feature adoption to achieve success.

Market Analysis & Customer Research: Help define customer personas, assess competitive offerings, and identify needs & product opportunities.

Usability Testing: Working closely with our usability team - conduct regular heuristic analysis & user testing to gain qualitative feedback on current and future products.

Ideal candidate will also haveWorked in a startup and understand how to manage and harass the energy of the chaos to your needs.

Strong program leadership and product management experience.

Experience in search technology, Email, SEO, SEM a plus.
