DescriptionThe Senior Manager of Consumer Insights & Strategy - Nourishment Innovation will provide senior level consumer insights leadership to the Tropicana/Nourishment Innovation team.

This person will be accountable for working directly with cross- functional innovation leadership (primarily Mkt and R&D) in setting the nourishment innovation strategy and driving the appropriate learning agenda to deliver against that strategy,assessing the information needs of the business and developing and implementing plans to address those needs; will be expert at integrating relevant knowledge for maximum insight and translating into actionable recommendations; will lead and manage 1-2 direct reports.

Specific responsibilities include: - Partner in developing innovation objectives and strategies by providing guidance to business team and senior management in identifying and prioritizing consumer platforms and white space opportunities.

- Help the organization develop a deep intuitive understanding of our target consumer groups and their emerging needs.

- Develop and apply actionable frameworks for identifying growth opportunities and assessing in-market performance: need states, consumer segmentation, market structure, monitoring changes in consumer behavior/attitudes; quality of existing product vs. competitors; etc.- Present learning and insights to senior management as a basis for strategic decision making on all innovation initiatives- Manage 1-2 direct: assigning challenging projects/ initiatives, setting appropriate objectives and priorities, and providing proactive coaching and feedback to optimize individual performance and development.

Requirements: The successful candidate will be an experienced consumer research professional (10+ years of experience).

Given the nature of the position, experience in consumer packaged goods, specifically new product development and innovation, is critical.

It is important the individual be well versed in research methodologies and possesses the ability to apply research to address the company's business problems.

He or she must have proven leadership and people development abilities, excellent project management skills, particularly in terms of allocating resources and ability to partner closely with internal and external clients.

- Coaching and Mentoring: must have the ability to bring out the best from Insights staff and provide appropriate guidance to raise the bar on contribution to the company.

10+ years of relevant Consumer Insights professional experience; experience in consumer package goods and new product development/innovation strongly preferred.

Bachelors Degree required; Advanced Degree preferred
