Senior Manager - Process Control Specialist Job in New York, New York US
A world class financial services company in New York City seeks a Senior Manager - Process control specialist - Merchant banking.
This position will be responsible for: Driving the global standardization and adoption of process initially focused on SPV / Legal entity governance and cash movementEstablish a set of policies and procedures to be adhered to regarding payments / cash movement and legal entity maintenanceEnsure the implementation and adoption of global processes, policies and proceduresSupport firm-wide Reg W and FCPA initiativesManage and coordinate the activities related to SPV governance and cash management initiatives with Controllers, the BU and other stakeholders (including: Tax, Legal, FCPA, IAD, external auditors, etc.), as requiredDevelop and maintain project plans for associated strategic technology and process reengineering initiativesWork with the BU COO, Internal audit department (IAD) and other senior management to ensure all IAD points are addressed and resolved within a timely mannerSkills required: Excellent written and oral communication skills5 to 10+ years experience with Prior project management and process improvement experience including 3 - 5+ years of previous public accounting and/or audit experienceRelated real estate and/or private equity fund managementStrong Microsoft Office skills required (MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint)An Undergraduate degree in business, finance, accounting or related fieldAbility for occasional, but limited, travelConsulting experience or prior project management is a big plusProficiency in MS Project and MS Visio is a big plusPrior experience in business process re-engineering and change managementStrong analytical and problem solving skillsStrong organizational skills and detail orientedAbility to manage time effectively and multi-task with minimal supervision
