Reporting to the Director - Financial Systems, the Senior Manager - Financial Systems will play an integral role in the full life cycle development and implementation of automated solutions for the Newell Rubbermaid worldwide finance and accounting organization.

These efforts will be primarily focused on benefit realization from the Company's investment in the Oracle/Hyperion EPM suite of tools.

The candidate must be a motivated individual with a demonstrated track record of achievement in the area of financial systems, in particular with the Oracle/Hyperion catalog of tools and applications.

The ideal candidate will easily adapt to new situations and changing requirements in a fast paced corporate environment.

Candidate must exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills, and must be open to learning new skills and advancing her/his portfolio of knowledge.

Responsibilities Support the Director - Financial Systems in the development of the strategic direction for financial systems solutioning across the worldwide Newell Rubbermaid finance and accounting organization.

Play an active role in the execution of Newell Rubbermaid's financial systems strategy through the Oracle/Hyperion EPM suite of tools, and in coordination with the Company's SAP ERP strategy and implementation plans.

Lead in the development of detailed processes and procedures around the Oracle/Hyperion EPM suite of tools to assure accuracy and timeliness of both external and internal financial data.

Develop and support custom scripting needs within the Oracle/Hyperion EPM suite within both the development and production environments.

Contribute to benefit realization for the worldwide finance and accounting organization from the Company's investment in the Oracle/Hyperion EPM suite of tools through training and proactive user outreach activities.

Supervise Oracle/Hyperion EPM systems administrators in the execution of their monthly and quarterly duties.

Be capable of serving as a back-up administrator for all production components of the Oracle/Hyperion EPM suite.

Assist in supporting the current Hyperion Enterprise environment through go-live of the Oracle/Hyperion EPM tools currently under development.

Liaise with IT on all system issues, both hardware and software Four-year college degree in Finance, Accounting, or Information Systems Minimum 5-7 years working with Hyperion financial reporting and analysis products Strong analytical, verbal and written communication, people, project management and organizational skills Trouble-shooting and rapid production problem resolution skills Demonstrated understanding of the budgeting and forecasting function within the finance organization Demonstrated accomplishment in the following areas of systems development: Planning and forecasting systemsConsolidation systemsSystems data integration Technical skills: HFMHyperion PlanningFDMEssbaseVB, Esscmd and MAXL ScriptingHyperion EnterpriseSAP FI/CO Newell Rubbermaid and its Business Units are Equal Opportunity Employers and comply with applicable employment laws.
