Senior Java Developer J2EE Job in Seaside, California US
Verigent, a telecom and IT staffing firm and one of INC 5000s fastest growing privately held companies in America, is assisting a client in the search for a Senior Java Developer J2EE.
This position will be located in Seaside, CA. US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION OF CANDIDATE NEEDED As a senior J2EE Engineer, duties will include full life cycle application support for DoD Authorization Issuance Maintenance (AIM).
The candidate will be highly proficient in Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) application development skills.
The work must be performed on-site in Seaside, CA. REQUIRED SKILLSMust be a US Citizen and capable of obtaining an IT-II clearance.
Strong communication skills required.
Ability to independently analyze, design and implement applications using an object oriented approach required.
5 years experience developing Java applications using J2EE.
Experience using struts Experience with database and XML technologies including Toplink or HibernateExperience using JDBC.
Experience with web application frameworks such as STRUTS or SPRINGKnowledge of SQL requiredExperience with Web Services.
Experience developing rich client interfaces PREFERRED SKILLSExperience using SQL Tuning Knowledge of file parsing (not required but a plus).
Experience leading development teams, mentoring co-workers, and interfacing with client STATEMENT OF WORK Candidate will participate in application software analysis, design, development and maintenance activities in support of Card Technology and Identity Solutions Division projects using J2EE architecture and Object Oriented Design principles.
