Senior Fermentation Scientist Job in Chicago 60804, Illinois US
*********Please note position will be located in Omaha, NE**********Aerotek is currently looking for a Senior Microbiologist/Fermentation Specialist to work with our client in OMAHA, NE. RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Improve quality, yield, and processing costs for production.
2. Collect and analyze data from laboratory trials to provide direction for process development.
3. Design, perform, and analyze data from fermentations at the bench scale and industrial scale.
4. Use technical knowledge in the area of biochemistry, fermentation principles and operation to improve performance and solve problems.
5. Will support Quality Control (QC) portion of the production facility and the release of products.
REQUIRMENTS: Education1.PhD in Biochemical Engineering, Microbiology, or Biology, with relevant experience in fermentation process management.
2. PhD in Chemical Engineering is a possible fit with the right experience3 Demonstrated ability to design, execute, and analyze fermentation experiments.
Give direction in support of operations4.
Must have 5-7 years of experience managing industrial fermentation processes and management of employees.
The position is Monday-Friday and the position is a Direct placement.
Relocation will be provided.
