Senior Contract Negotiator Job in Germantown 20876, Maryland US

Position Details: Seasoned, high energy, team oriented Senior Commercial Contracts negotiator for corporate legal department with experience in telecommunications equipment, software and services deals; contract manufacturer agreement negotiations experience strongly preferred.
Responsibilities: - Negotiate and prepare Master Purchase Agreements for sale of complex telecom equipment, software and services (maintenance, software and hardware support, etc) to Tier 1, (e.
g., AT&T, Verizon, Comcast), Tier 2 and smaller customers; including working knowledge of revenue recognition and VSOE rules and implications.
- Take ownership of/manage divisions outsourcing model; assist development and potential revision of program from legal dept perspective and negotiate and prepare contract manufacturing agreements.
- Familiarity with the following a plus: GSA Schedules, MBWBE (Minority Woman Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise) Rules of Tier 1 customers, and/or FCPA (Federal Corrupt Practices Act), pace, nature, politics of dealing with large telcos.
- Liaise with and manage outside counsel as necessary on possibly all of the above.
- Familiarity with legal databases that compile and organize legal contracts w/ approval and signature routing features.
- Ensure internal/external deliverables are timely and accurate.
- Interact comfortably and proactively with and support needs of various departments (e.
g., finance, HR, sales, operations, etc.) and ensure that their legal needs are being met and challenges resolved.
- Assist in preparation of legal presentations (PPT).
Required Qualifications: - Results-driven, strong sense of urgency and can drive to results.
- Savvy interpersonal skills; must interact and manage variety of constituencies.
- Desire and ability to organize, manage, lead cross functional teams to achieve business goals.
- Limit exposure in aggressive sales environment.
- Comfortable rolling-up sleeves and being hands-on.
- Flexibility and judgment involved in both reporting to manager and working independently.
- Prudent organizational and time-management skills.
- Enjoys challenges of working in a fast-paced, growth oriented environment.
- Comfort working up, down and across the organization.
