Senior Business Analyst Job in Minneapolis 55402, Minnesota US

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting customer and market needs analysis, developing detail product and internet systems requirements, and managing all stages of business requirements from initial research to user acceptance testing.
You will be the liaison between client subject matter experts and the development team.
You will also identify and assist in the development of additional business opportunities within current clients, understanding client tactical plans and goals and expressing business requirements in terms of the function to be performed by the solution.
Other responsibilities include overseeing business to system knowledge management, and assisting in overall system design from user interface through backend processes.
This is a team-based position requiring strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Requirements 6+ years experience in business/systems analysis using OOAD or a structured analysis methodology Knowledge of 3-tiered client server development and web-based development.
Knowledge in software development methodologies such as structured analysis & design, object-oriented analysis & design, and component-based development Experience writing and managing requirements for systems involving user workflow with elaborate user interface and interaction BS in MIS or related discipline Highly developed analytical and conceptual skills Strong technical and creative writing skills Demonstrated management, leadership and interpersonal skills Action-oriented team player with positive attitude Knowledge of Cognos or other reporting tools.
