Senior Applications Developer V Job in Newark, New Jersey US
As a lead member of our IT team, you will utilize your expert knowledge of J2EE, Websphere and DB2 to help solve complex problems and support our mission critical systems during all phases of the software development life cycle.
Responsibilities will include:
managing/directing staff
requirements gathering, and front end analysis
providing operations and production support
ongoing system maintenance
designing/coding enhancements and new functionality using J2EE and Websphere
system and user acceptance testing
making presentations utilizing PowerPoint, Visio, etc.To qualify, you must have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS or Engineering, 8+ years of relevant work experience, and hands-on experience with J2EE, Websphere, DB2 and Struts.
Knowledge of Structured Development Life Cycle (sdlc), requirements gathering, systems, and UAT (User Acceptance Testing) will also be expected.
Experience with UML is a plus.
