Senior Analytic Consultant Job in Northbrook
Position Summary : Supports sales process by analyzing prescription benefit data and providing recommendations to achieve client goals.
Successful candidate in this position will develop a deep understanding of clients business and goals in order to best fit our products and services with their strategy.
They will use logic and analytic skills to perform client analyzes in response to specific business questions and be able to communicate the findings, including methodology and estimated outcomes.
-Ability to manipulate and analyze large data sets-Communicate complex analytic findings in an easy-to-understand way-Utilize forecasting techniques to estimate the impact of benefit design changes-Provide insight and information using industry and technical knowledge to elicit client action-Respond to client business needs through ad-hoc analytics-Creative thinking to develop industry-leading solutions to respond to changing healthcare landscape-Appropriate prioritization of client requests to ensure focus on high-impact activities-Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage tight deadlines-Effectively leverage team resources to support assigned sales book of business-Modify existing tools/models to resolve complex client problems-Occasional on-site travel to participate in client meetings, travel percentage on a yearly basis is 25%Qualifications : -Ability to analyze large data sets and draw relevant conclusions-Demonstrated proficiency in MS Excel-Experience with MS Access / Powerpoint / SAS / SQL required-Strong presentation and communication skills with experience presenting to clients.
Education : -Bachelors degree required.
Degree related to mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, finance or other data-related fields preferred.
-Masters degree in healthcare related fields or MBA preferredExperience : -4+ years experience in data manipulation and analysis-2+ years experience in a client / customer facing role required-Demonstrated experience in using logic and analytic skills to develop solutions for client/customer analysis requests
