Senior Accounting Professional - Consolidations Job in Chicago, Illinois US
Our client is an Industry Leading, Global Fortune 500 - Employer of Choice with headquarters in the Chicago area.
Venator is in need of several top-notch, highly motivated accounting professionals to fill the role of Senior Accounting Professional - Consolidations.
This role will have daily exposure to the Management Team of the company and will be a critical contributor to the companys overall financial success.
The position is available due to relocation to the Chicago area.
Duties and Responsibilities: 8-10+ years of experience in Public Accounting or a large companys corporate reporting area.
Public Private combination experience is preferred.
A CPA is preferred.
Experience with consolidations, technical reporting & analysis experience is required.
Strong conceptual knowledge of US GAAP IASB, AICPA, FASB, IFRS experience is also a huge plus.
Experience working in a complex legal entity structure, including accounting for holding companies.
Extensive experience working in acquisitions and divestitures.
Experience with FX and CTA.Ad- hoc analysis and interaction with the Divisions on various accounting and analysis issues.
Strong analytical, written communication and interpersonal skills.
Internal Drive with a willingness and desire to learn as well as advance rapidly within the organization.SEC reporting experience is also beneficial.
