Senior Accountant Job in Naperville 60540, Illinois US
Senior Accountant 33-13001418 The Senior Accountant is responsible for the day-to-day accounting responsibilities and will report directly to the Controller.
The position is located in Naperville.
Responsibilities: Assist department managers with budget preparation and reconciliationProvide information for forecasting and budgetingCompleting corporate consolidation and cash flow reportsPreparing monthly closes and related financial reports for conversion projectsPreparing year-end accounting work papersVarious journal entries as neededFixed Asset maintenanceAssist in preparation of various tax and business license returnsBalance sheet reconciliations and reviewing the trial balanceTake on special projects when needed and meet deadlinesPosting to the general ledger and analyzing accounts Requirements: Degree in Accounting, CPA a plus5+ years experience in an accountant roleAdvanced Excel knowledge is a mustExperience with Great PlainsExcellent knowledge of accounting systemsStrong reporting backgroundMust possess excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skillsMust have ability to work independently and multi-task as needed For immediate consideration, please email your resume as a Word document to oakbrook [at] jacksonwabash [dot] com !
