Due to growth, there is the need to hire an experienced Senior Accountant to join their corporate accounting division.Job Duties: Provide accurate and timely financial reporting according to GAAP while assisting upper managementPrepare consolidated financial statements and provide month end closing activities such as reconciliations, financial analysis, researching technical issues while reporting meeting strict deadlinesCoordinate forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, compile B/S reconciliations and documentation for supplemental financial schedulesGenerate month-end and year-end financial reports for control measures and data to Assistant Controller and upper management as requestedMaintain internal controls according to Sarbanes-Oxley requirementsComplete special ad-hoc projects and other duties as neededJob Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA a plusMinimum of 5 years of experience within accounting/finance related experienceAdvanced Excel skills to include MS Excel v-lookups, pivot-tables, Hyperion, PeopleSoftExcellent communication skills both verbal and writtenAbility to work within a team oriented environment, flexible and dependableSolid track record of career progression with the ability to successfully multi-task and meet time sensitive deadlinesAbility to present financial information to upper management and various departmental heads as needed
