Our client, with corporate operations in Orange County is looking to hire a talented and motivated Senior Accountant with 4 to 6 years of experience in accounting preferably in a distribution environment.

Job Responsibilities The essential duties and responsibilities will include the following: Heavy account reconciliation and financial statement analysis Month-end P&L review Heavy involvement in month end close process General Ledger Maintenance Journal entry preparationRequirements (a must) CPA BS or BA degree from four year accredited college or university with emphasis in accounting Solid GAAP knowledge Advanced GL Experience 4-6 years relevant work experience Distribution experience with strong inventory accounting Previous experience in a multi-state corporation a plus Excellent MS-Excel skills and working knowledge of MS-Word and MS-Power point a plus Experience with Great Plains and FRX Excellent analytical and problem solving skills Detail oriented and effective multi-tasking skills Excellent communication skills (verbal, written) Desire to take on increasing responsibility
