Senior A&H Underwriting Executive Job in Summit, New Jersey US
Our client is an international insurance Carrier with an A rating.
They have a United States presence but are based out of the UK and theyve been in business for over 25 years.
Our search is for a Senior Accident & Health Underwriting Executive for their Northern New Jersey location.
This person will be focused on building and growing a profitable Personal Accident business both domestically and internationally in helping existing partners; brokers and clients expand existing relationships and implement new A&H strategies.
Core activities include:
Determining the appropriate product mix for new business
Developing new products from both plan design and pricing perspective
Evaluating potential opportunities and helping execute marketing plans, product launches and positioning strategies
Coordinating and managing all product filings (with outside assistance)Duties and Responsibilities:
Underwriting: Assessing risk, determine pricing, understanding competitive landscape, recommending optimal marketing/distribution channels and anticipating pitfalls
Marketing: Managing placements through a number of distribution channels
Implementation and Monitoring of book of business providing reports and analysis on results and market conditions.
Participate in industry functions and events as needed.
