Select Insurance Producer II - NJ, FT Job in Pemberton , New Jersey US
Description The Producer role will be responsible for generating small to middle market Commercial Property and Casualty business within the Central and Northern New Jersey Market.
Location of the role is flexible depending on the experience and knowledge of the candidates and travel will be required.
Sells select insurance and other Company products and services to a sales goal range.
Maintains network of referral sources and centers of influence.
Makes prospect visits independently.
Collects prospect information, gathers information from other internal departments to answer questions and closes sales.
Develops knowledge of insurance and other Company products and resources by frequent contact with other internal departments.
Ensures that own work, as well as work of any employees supervised, is in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and guidelines, as detailed in policies located on Company intranet policies include but are not limited to Fair Lending, Know Your Customer, Bank Secrecy Act and other applicable anti-money-laundering policies.
Insurance licensing required.
Membership in professional and civic organizations required after employment.
Actively pursues professional designations such as CPCU, CIC, ARM, CEBS or CLU. 4-year degree or the equivalent combination of education and work experience required.
Generally 3-5 years related sales experience required.
Knowledge of various lines of insurance.
Strong sales ability.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
PC skills, including familiarity with presentation software.
