Overview: - Assist with Document Control and Visitor Control, Personnel Security, Physical Security, Information Systems (IS) Security, Automated Information Security (AIS), Communications Security (COMSEC).

- Assist the FSO in day-to-day operations of closed and restricted areas.

- Ensure collateral and SCI classified program operations meet all applicable NISPOM/DCID standards as well as any additional Cognizant Security Agency (CSA) guidance.

- Assist the FSO with the development and maintenance of 328's, 441s and DD254s.

- Assist with the personnel security clearance program; process personnel security clearances and crossovers as needed.

Specific Job Duties: - Assist in initiating background investigation paperwork (including fingerprinting) using e-QIP and JPAS.

- Provide initial security indoctrination briefings, debriefings, and annual refresher briefings.

- Perform document control functions to include in/out processing of classified/sensitive material and preparing document transmittals.

- Perform visitor control functions to include processing incoming and outgoing visit requests.

- Liaison with external alarm monitoring facility to ensure security of controlled areas.

- Complete and maintain all security logs, registers, files, records and reports.

- Conduct self-audits and self-inspections as necessary.

- Ensure appropriate storage, safeguarding, and disclosure requirements are followed.

- Assist in developing and maintaining a security awareness training and education program.

- Provide support to physical security initiatives for build-outs and new facility designs.

Position requirements: - Active TS/SCI Clearance to include a current background investigation.

- 2-3 years of security experience to include DoD and Federal Security regulations (NISPOM and DCIDS).

- Experience with DoD and SCI and security procedures and policies.

- Experience with E-QIP/EPSQ/JPAS.

- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Excellent organizational skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
