Security Analyst Job in Chicago 60804, Illinois US
TEKsystems currently has a long term contract engagement with a large financial services client in downtown Chicago looking for a Security Analyst.
As a security analyst this person is responsible for monitoring, evaluating, and maintaining the security systems and establishing guidelines to ensure uniform, risk-controlled computer access.
Services partner requests for access to various systems by operating security system software on multiple platforms.
Analysts will research and implement enhancements to security procedures and systems.
Other responsibilities include: - Setup log-on IDs, ensure proper authorization to access data and determine parameters for established passwords.
- Follow information security policies on multiple computer systems in setting up log-on IDs.

- Create or modify procedures in response to security problems.
- Oversee the review, planning and implementation of security access changes for department reorganizations or large group changes.
Knowledge/Skills: - Knowledge of corporate security policy and procedures, and data processing, usually acquired through related work experience, is required to maintain security information.
- Analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills are required to plan for and implement enhancements to security procedures and systems.
- Ability to prioritize multiple and complex assignments is necessary to perform project requirements.
