Job Duties and Responsibilities: Reporting to the Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing, the Sales and Marketing Analyst is responsible for the collection, analysis, and reporting of sales and marketing related data in an ongoing effort to increase overall sales productivity and market penetration.

The Sales and Marketing Analyst will create both standardized and custom reports, conduct quantitative product, market and sales analysis; serve as pricing analyst and support pricing policy development; track, monitor and report on customer rebate and discount agreements; provide support for sales promotions; maintain competitive database; and develop standardized tools, methodologies and business processes aimed at improving operational efficiency.

Among the Sales and Marketing Analysts duties are the following: Collect, analyze, evaluate and report data in order to increase sales productivity.

Organize and analyze rebate and discount agreements, working with sales management to ensure effective management with proper management controls.

Collect sales records & trends and evaluate performance measured against objectives.

Analyze sales and performance records, interpret results of overall sales and provide recommendations on more effective resource deployment.

Assist management in developing and reviewing the sales budget and rolling sales forecast including sales to budget variance analysis.

Analyze line of business operations (product lines, distribution network, geographic, etc.) to determine profitability and to establish a baseline for action and operational changes.

Analyze markets to determine market size, market share, product positioning, and competitive market position.

Support and maintain CRM tools and system.

Co-ordinate the complete sales reporting and forecasting process for all sales channels (Key Accounts, OEMs, Regional Sales, National Accounts, etc.). Analyze results and create reports and presentations containing respective conclusions, ideas, and general guidance.

Provide support as requested of key sales and marketing initiatives The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualities: Bachelors degree in business, accounting, or marketing.

Advanced skills using Excel and PowerPoint software.

Industrial sales and marketing experience, including distribution and direct sales channels.

Confident and comfortable communication skills at all levels, team player Ability to analyze data, help create relevant strategy, and make tactical decisions History of supporting individuals and teams to meet their goals.

Have strong a work ethic, be self-motivated, and possess an honest, genuine drive.
