Sales Representative Job in East Meadow 11010, New York US
Lorillard, America's oldest and third largest cigarette manufacturer with more than $3 billion in sales, seeks a highly motivated self-starter to market our products to retailers and wholesalers in the East Meadow, Franklin Square, Garden City, Hempstead, North Merrick, Uniondale and West Hempstead area.
Lorillard's impressive brand portfolio includes Kent, Old Gold, Maverick, True, and Max as well as Newport, America's top-selling menthol cigarette.
More than a sales representative, you'll develop positive working relationships with store owners and store managers by serving as their tobacco products expert.
Responsibilities include managing promotional programs, securing and maintaining point-of purchase displays that alert consumers to brand availability.
To qualify, you must have a bachelors degree*, or in lieu of a degree, a high school diploma with 3 years work experience.
Previous sales experience while preferred, is not required.
You must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid drivers license issued by the state in which employed; have the ability to independently plan, organize and prioritize multiple tasks; possess effective interpersonal and competent communication skills, including persuasiveness.
Light lifting and light physical activity, including bending and squatting is required.
*In some circumstances, education, experiences, training and certifications will be considered and may be acceptable in lieu of a bachelors degree.
