Sales Representative - College Textbook Publishing Job in Providence 02903, Rhode Island US
Our client is one of the largest and most respected educational publishing companies in America.
They have asked us to locate a sales representative to sell a full line of textbooks and other class materials to professors at colleges in Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts.
This is a well established territory with a large base of existing accounts with which our client has already developed strong rapport.The candidate we seek will have a 4-year degree with 1 or more years of professional sales experience with a documented track record of success, as evidenced by stack rankings, awards and commendations.
Textbook publishing or other educational sales experience is helpful but not required for this position.
Candidates with Business-to-Business sales experience will definitely be considered for this position and should definitely apply.The successful candidate can expect to earn $55-75K or more the first year, based on a starting salary of $40-55K (possibly higher for 3-5 years sales experience) plus an annual bonus that adds an average of $15-20K per year, but could be even higher based on personal performance.
