Sales Productivity Manager - VCE Initiative Job in Hopkinton, Massachusetts US
Job Description EMC's vSpecialist Productivity Manager The vSpecialist team was created to drive EMC revenue in the VMware virtualization market.
The team achieves this by driving a consultative, programmatic sales agenda focused on EMC solutions that reducing cost, improve operational efficiency, drive innovation and business agility and grow market share for EMC.The ideal Productivity Manager candidate must have an intimate understanding of EMC systems like SalesForce.com and Brio and EMC, Cisco and VMware field sales GTM with strong team building and leadership skills.
Primary Objective: Create, organize, analyze and communicate the vSpecialist Sales agenda with EMC, VMware and Cisco field sales organizations: Field Engagement: – Focused strategy on business development into core VE and VCE accounts – Focused strategy on global / enterprise and un-penetrated accounts aligned to core regions – Leverage EMC resources to meet Service Provider, Strategic Integrators and Channel Partner objectives.
– Drive the capture and reporting of e vidence that supports VE and VCE objectives and joint business value proposition (ie.
wins, customer references, whitepapers, etc.) Sales Enablement – Help create and deliver on formalized GTM initiatives with VMware & Cisco sales leadership – Drive relationship mapping, territory plans & field business development activities such as seminars and other demand generation events (VMW Workshops) analogues to BURA workshops.
– Facilitate the EMC Super Tuesday Virtualization Training.
Programs: – Help create, measure and communicate field programs to drive activity, pipeline and revenue.
– Team with EMC field marketing organization for alignment & execution of programs.
Education and Professional Qualification Requirements: – 5+ years of EMC and / or VMware, Cisco field experience.
– Cloud domain expertise is preferable.
– Proven sales track record in a matrix management role.
– Experience working with global SI/ISVs (preferably VMware) Travel Requirement: – 50% travel expected across Americas
