On a daily basis, as a Sales Manager you will: Sales Goals and Strategies
Use your leadership abilities and big-picture thinking to provide strong guidance and strategic planning.


Achieve volume and profitability objectives through smart strategies, good management and the utilization of sales channels in a continually changing environment.


Implement and execute company-wide or regional level initiatives so as to maximize their impact and to help meet or exceed profitability goals.


Identify referral source prospects for dealership and develop relationships with them Sales Team Effectiveness
Build a great team by recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and developing successful Sales Associates.


Use your proactive leadership to achieve profitability objectives in a method consistent with DriveTime's vision and values.


Conduct sales meetings to motivate and share successful selling techniques and skills.


Provide constructive performance evaluations and consistent feedback
Implement and execute company-wide training initiatives so as to maximize their impact and to help develop successful Sales Associates.


Set Sales Associates' work schedules and ensure that staffing meets customer volumeCustomer Service
Exhibit a relationship-oriented approach to customers, vendors, and employees
Develop and enhance customer relationships by establishing, promoting, and maintaining excellent customer service with the dealership operations
Support the GM in identifying community organizations and events appropriate for dealership involvement
Help promote a positive image of DriveTime by getting involved in the communityReports
Track sales progress and initiate changes as need to meet goals
Review dealership and sales performance statistics, including commission and other earnings related reports to ensure accuracy
Track, document, and distribute sales prospects Finance
Underwrite the contract and loan by reviewing the credit application and the credit report, and interviewing the customer
Coordinate with the Loan Manager to ensure deals maintain or improve the credit mix within the portfolio
Monitor or complete the contract closing to ensure the customer understands the terms and conditions of the contract
Complete employment, residence, and reference verifications
Review deal jackets to ensure that deals are complete Other
Work with dealership management team to ensure that DriveTime policies and procedures are communicated, understood, implemented, and maintained Rewards

Qualifications:
Customer Service experience: Retail, Hospitality, or rent-to-own backgrounds are ideal!
