Sales Manager - DC-DC Power Supplies Job in Boston, Massachusetts US
Crane Electronics Group, a world-class contract manufacturer of high reliability defense and aerospace electronics and micro electronics has a career opportunity for and experienced aerospace electronics sales manager.
In this position you will be responsible for maintaining direct customer relations and sales with established customers, and generating sales growth opportunities with both existing and new customers in a geographic region.
Responsibilities: · Responsible for the generation and booking of orders, per Sales Compensation Plan, for Crane Electronics Group products and services within the Power Solution segment, in an assigned territory and/or set of defense and/or commercial aerospace accounts.
· Solicits new business from current customers and potential new customers in area of responsibility.
· Seeks out and develops opportunities to apply Crane products and technical capabilities to meet customer requirements.
· Solicits bid requests, evaluates and qualifies bid opportunities (including competitive intelligence), recommends Bid/No Bid response, and helps develop and presents approved proposals.
· Develops and executes short and long range sales plans and programs designed to ensure the profitable growth and expansion of company products and/or services.
· Directs the interface between all assigned customers and their representatives, and the internal departments of all affected Electronics Group organizations.
· Ensures effective expense control of sales activities to achieve designated budgets within company guidelines.
Required Education or Training: · BSEE degree, or related technical Bachelors degree.
· Additional business degree is a plus.
Required Minimum Experience & Skills: · Five or more years of directly related sales experience in aerospace and defense electronics and micro electronic components, subsystems and systems.
· Demonstrated track record of achieving sales quotas.
· Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communications skills.
· Demonstrated flexibility, with strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
