Sales Manager - Central Division Job in Des Moines , Iowa US
Job Description Sales Manager - Central DivisionAirgas is the United States' largest distributor of industrial, medical, and specialty gases and related equipment, safety supplies and MRO products and services to industrial and commercial markets.
Airgas North Central has an excellent opportunity for a Sales Manager in the Central Division (Iowa, Eastern Nebraska, Southeast South Dakota).
Reporting to the Central Divisional Vice President, the Sales Manager will provide sales leadership and direction to the Central Division sales team.
Responsibilities include coaching and motivating the sales team to reach and exceed goals; establishing sales territories, quotas and goals; analyzing sales and marketing data for trends and opportunities; and building a team for expanded and anticipated growth.
The Sales Manager will also be responsible for monthly sales meeting with their group.
Qualified candidates will have 4 year degree in related industry, MBA desired but not required.
3 to 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the same or similar industry, have demonstrated competence in sales and marketing and possess exceptional verbal and written skills.
Candidates with in-depth knowledge of the welding process and supplies used in that process are highly encouraged to apply.
This position will require 50% travel with some overnight travel.
