We have an excellent opportunity for a skilled Sales Application Engineer for our Industrial Division at our headquarters in Plymouth, MN. Your responsibilities and contributions to success will include
1. Assist representatives in standard and special applications.
Make special or difficult fan selections.
Assist in pricing and help to solve technical problems in a timely manner2 Work on large and/or special jobs.

Select and price the most effective fans for the application based on specificationsb Follow up with customers or representatives on quotations.
Work with the Engineering Department to interpret specifications and customer requirements.
Review customer drawings and datac Work with the Manufacturing and Quality Assurance Departments to properly move the job through the shop to meet customer satisfaction.
3. Assist Purchasing to specify purchase of special equipment and accessories to meet customer specifications4 Maintain and update technical knowledge of company products and competitors' products.
Maintain adequate knowledge of buyou
5. Partner with the Order Department and give them clear instructions on orders received6 Keep abreast of competition, their price levels and new products; make suggestions and recommendations to keep our company competitive in the market place7 Keep supervisors adequately informed on various jobs8 Assist Customer Service department on any identified problem areas9 Other duties as assigned or apparent.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering wit
2. 1 - 2 years of sales application experience.
Prefer experience in the fan industry3.
Effective communications and interpersonal skills4 Able to work with minimum supervision and to make reasonable decisions5.
High attention to detail.
