This role within Product Management will assume responsibility for variety of activities, deliverables and product support functions.

The position will require interfacing with sales, finance, field operations, Internaps partners, resellers and agent as well as, other internal and external organizations to help maximize revenue and margin opportunities and create cross BU product solutions.

Product responsibilities will focus on data center service offers but will often require understanding of additional products and services within the Internap portfolio.

Data center, web hosting and/or colocation experience is preferred, but experience with IP Services, CDN, Storage will also be important.

Pricing experience working with sales or sales support experience will be most essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for creation and application of a cohesive pricing strategy for assigned products and services, including collecting and developing tactical sales strategies based on market feedback recognizing impacts on demand, cannibalization and profitability.

Manage all aspects of a data center service pricing requests and address special sales support requirements.

Must be able to lead cross functional teams in the development of custom bundle solutions.

Measured on product specific P & L performance.

Must understand cost drivers and be able to work across the organization to influence product growth and profitability, communicate marketing objectives and manage product forecasts as necessary.

Product: Responsible for lifecycle management of assigned products and services focusing on product, pricing and positioning related primarily to colocation services but encompassing understanding of the entire company portfolio.

Working with the Product Management team in the coordination of process improvements, enhancements and lifecycle activities is also required.

Focus of position is hosting and colocation services but the candidate should have a broader Internet Service Provider experience as well or in lieu of direct hosting and colocation experience.

Selling, pricing, positioning or marketing experience and/or other direct sales support roles are essential.

Partners: Responsible for coordination and interaction with various vendor relationships required for effective sales support.

Experience and ability to work in liaison role with operational field resources as well as perform in sales support functions will be critical to success.

Interfaces: Primary interface is with internal and external Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations teams associated with ensuring effective, efficient sales support.

QUALIFICATIONS: BS Degree required; MBA preferred Strong interpersonal skillsStrong background in pricing and Sales support with an understanding of data center products and services, web hosting, CDN, IP Services and other data telecommunications services.

Working knowledge of the technical aspects of IP/Telecommunications, web infrastructure, etc.Ability to own requirements and translate customers' needs into a product/service solutions.

Financial acumen and ability to manage pricing activities with consideration of revenue and margin impacts.
