SQL Database Developer (SSIS/ETL) Job in Greater Boston 02121, Massachusetts US
Job Title: SQL Database Developer (SSIS/ETL)Location: Greater Boston, MALength: 3-6 month contract (with possible extension) Rate/Salary: DOE Our client is a financial institution with principal markets in the Northeast United States.
They offer a broad array of financial services and products including retail banking, business and corporate banking, cash management, capital markets, wealth management, and insurance.
Our client has a SQL Server 2005, SQL Server 2000, DB2, Oracle environment.
We are currently in need a Sr Engineer/SQL Server Developer to help in migration/integration/development from SQL Server 2000 to 2005.
Any DB2 or Oracle skills would be a plus.
Develop, test and implement ETL and integration for SQL-based application.
System is expected to include a dozen feeds from a variety of applications; formats are expected to include ACCESS/Excel spreadsheets as well as extracts from other applications.
Requirements: Senior level engineers with both development and SQL Server/SSIS *development* experience Must have developed for ETL. Must understand SOA. Must have C# or VB .Net experience.
Have a get things done attitude and be ready to jump in and contribute to an already in place infrastructure and methodology.
Technical Skills: *Transact SQL/ T-SQL *Stored Procedures *Triggers *Database Design *Partitioning *SSIS *SSRS *SQL Server Development/DBA *SQL Database 2005 , stored procedures, triggers *SQL Server Integration Services *SQL Server Reporting Services *MSOffice: Access and Excel *Experience with data validation and data cleansing *Partitioning *T-SQL *ETL Development *C#/VB.NET *SOA (Systems Oriented Architechture) Soft Skill Requirements: Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience with Financial Institution systems preferred
