PURCHASING AGENTBRING YOUR PROVEN DIVERSIFIEDPURCHASING SKILLS TOA A B ROur non-profit org dedicated to helping people w/developmental disabilities has an exc opp'ty for an exp'd prof'l with a proven track record in a similar environment.
Will be resp for locating vendors of materials, equipment and supplies, ensuring the best possible cost.
Reporting to the Director, this highly visible position also involves preparing/ processing requisitions & purchase orders for supplies and equipment and administering online system.
Requires the ability to analyze & review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance withn agency policy.
Excellent troubleshooter has ability to resolve vendor/supplies and/or contract disputes.
Responsibilities involve purchasing a myriad of supplies for our group homes, Day Programs & school.BA degree req'd.
Position based in Queens.
Compet salary & exc benefits.
Must have NY State valid driver's license.
