SENIOR MEDIA PRODUCER, MET, Distance Education Administration (6061/G1610*) Job in Boston 02215, Massachusetts US
Responsible for organizing the media office within the Office of Distance Education, and planning and overseeing all media projects within it. Create instructional and/or promotional learning objects for online use using audio, video, photography, and flash animation.
Ensure the quality of all technical, aesthetic and programmatic components of productions.
Oversee synchronous or asynchronous productions, and supervise technical and other logistics in connection with the production of instructional or educational marketing oriented media.
Requires: BA/BS or equivalent, master's preferred.
This position requires a fundamental knowledge of and skills in graphics design, and/or still or motion photography, or television production.
Proficient in current Adobe CS Suite, Final Cut Pro, MS Office Suite, All Apple Applications, and FTP protocols as well as knowledgeable about streaming media server technologies and other specific ODE video and graphic software tools.
Media directing and producer experience, as well as advanced production skills with a keen eye and ear for visual and audio composition as well as other technical details.
Five years of experience in still and/or motion picture photography, photography, including a thorough knowledge of all video production processes.
Media development and design experience in either the corporate or higher education environments a plus.
