Job Description: The Management Consultant understands and/or challenges the business requirements and develops the means to configure the respective SAP module (ie FI, MM, SD, CO) to support these requirements.

This role includes the ability to troubleshoot and recommend alternatives to resolve conflicts between business requirements and standard system functionality.

The primary responsibilities are the following: Define and manage projects, especially functionally aligned workstreams (eg resource requirements and project workflow) to meet engagement objectives and budget Utilize and apply best practices on projects, gleaned from experience and consultation with experts; appropriately tailored for the client and their culture Be hands on application expert and prepare / review project deliverables (eg benefits realization strategy, to-be functional requirements, enterprise structure, business process master list (bpml), business process design document, to-be functional design, baseline configurations (IMG), process maps, control matrices, testing scenarios, user acceptance tests, business process procedures) to ensure they meet project objectives Manage project financials including budgets, timely billing and collection Recruit and develop staff skills to support SAP practice opportunities Participate in practice development by supporting sales activities Build and maintain relationships with key executives and a network of professional organizations or affiliations Demonstrate thought leadership by writing or contributing to published articles, practice methodologies and tools, whitepapers.

Education RequiredBA/BS; graduate degree desirable.

SAP & PMI certifications.

Job Requirements8 + years of SAP SD/MM implementation experience and 1+ years of SAP GTS implementation experience.

Experience with SAP ECC 5.0/6.0 is a must.The candidate understands and/or challenges the functional requirements of SAP Global Trade Services module in the areas of Sanctioned Party List screening for Exports and Imports, Harmonized Tariff code set up, Classification set up, SAP GTS integration with SAP ECC, Trade preference processing, Customs communications with authorities in the US and Europe, familiarity with NCTS regulations, Duty Calculation and Classification and reporting.

Candidate will work with the client's SAP GTS project team to design the technical aspects of blueprint from business requirements and/or recommend alternatives to improve processes.

With appropriate knowledge and experience, the candidate will serve as a subject matter expert in SAP GTS technical aspects and collaborate with client in the development and implementation of business transformation solutions.

They will work with client's project team from blueprinting to configuration, through various testing phases to system go-live.

The SAP GTS consultant understands and/or challenges the business requirements and industry practices in the technical aspects of SAP GTS. The primary aspects are the following: Supports one or more ongoing client engagements in the role of a Lead SAP GTS functional consultant Establishes and builds client relationships at the engagement or management levelRecognized internally and externally as an expert for SAP GTS technical knowledge and experienceParticipates in business development activities and assists with developing technology solution content for proposalsDevelops a niche area of expertise in the SAP GTS domain, proactively shares knowledge within the team and assists in selling solutions within this area of expertise to clientsContributes to PwC's intellectual capital by participating in or leading internal initiatives (such as packaged solution development) in the SAP GTS domainSupports hiring of the right resources within the SAP practiceMay formally supervise or contribute to the performance reviews of junior team membersActively participates is an affinity group or community of interest both within and outside PwC.
