Position: SAP BPC Outlook Soft Lead DeveloperLocation: San Jose, CADuration: 6 months contract to hireRate: All Inclusive/ Keep it competitiveStart Date: ASAP The Corporate Finance group seeks an experienced and highly motivated BPC Lead Developer to deliver innovative business process design, systems integration, input schedules, custom interfaces, and end-to-end planning solutions using BP
7. 0 functionality.
The BPC developer will participate in all phases of the post go-live system and planning solution development including stabilization, configuration, testing, deployment, upgrades, and change requests.
This position will work closely with business subject matter experts across CFO Organization to support, enhance, and extend functionality within the BPC environment reporting to the Director of Corporate Finance.
Responsibilities include using hands-on experience and working knowledge of leading practices within the planning, month end close, and consolidation processes to: Maintain a stable BPC environment Diagnose production issues Drive solution Design/Blueprint process Document functional and technical specifications Configure, build, and implement BPC solutions Maintain a stable BPC environment Manage change requests and end-user testing and acceptance Qualified candidates will posses the following: Finance/Accounting background with budgeting, planning, and/or consolidations experience Experience with SAP FI, CO, PA, SD, BI Extensive experience with creating application sets, logic calculations, data loading, BPC security, work status, BPFs and audit, ad hoc analysis, EVDRE functionality, currency translation, Inter-company eliminations and journals Experience with the development of BPC planning/forecasting applications including custom reporting, dashboards, and scorecards Strong data modeling and design skills along with database maintenance and tuning experience Proficiency using Excel and Access required, experience building advanced Excel reports, including VBA The client would like to have consultant that was involved on the SAP business side that has technical experience with BPC (Outlooksoft).
Want someone that has reporting and financial statement (spreadsheet) experience.
Like to have someone that has 2-3 years experience in Outlooksoft.
They have BPC up and running (they are going live in 2 weeks).
They want a consultant to take over in the second phase of the project.
The consultant will perform stabilization, development (enhancing and bug fixes) and fine tuning.
Will circle back with the end users and do mini-projects.
Will be upgrading for BP
5. 1 to BPC 7 (Netweaver environment).
Want someone that has Dash Boarding, consolidation, and source coding experience (flow of data through BI).
