The solutions-oriented internal audit consulting team is seeking a well-rounded professional team-player to join a leading consulting firm focused on the financial institutions sector.

You will help deliver excellence in internal audit and regulatory compliance consulting services to our clients in the Philadelphia Economic Unit.

The candidate will be part of the Risk Management team which plans and executes risk Management services (including bank regulatory compliance) within the financial institution industry.

These services include but are not limited to preparation of risk assessments, annual audit plans, planning and completing scheduled internal audits or compliance reviews, and preparing work papers and reports to support the fieldwork.

The candidate also will possess the following competencies and qualifications: Required Qualifications: · 4 years of progressive responsibility in internal audit or equivalent consulting experience within a bank or financial services company or consulting services with these client types.

· BS degree in Accounting, Finance or other business related area.

· Ability to travel to client sites for engagement fieldwork, including some overnight travel as necessary.

Preferred Competencies: · Experience with financial institution regulatory compliance, with an emphasis on Consumer Compliance, highly desirable.

· Solid working knowledge of bank and financial services products, services and operations.

· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, communicating at a variety of levels with client management teams and co-workers.

· Proactive project management style with excellent leadership, problem solving, and consensus building skills.

· Competency in assessing the effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls in banks and financial services companies.

· Ability to wrap up internal audit engagements independently, conduct exit meeting with client and draft reports for Manager and Director review.

· Ability to work as a team as well as be self-motivated during audit engagements.

· Strong customer service skills, careful listener and creative strategic thinker.

· CIA, CRP, CBA, CFE, CISA, or CFSA certification a plus.
