Retirement Plan & Institutional Sales Specialist Job in San Diego, California US
The objective of the Retirement Plan and Institutional Sales Specialist is to provide consulting, sales and marketing support, to provide technical and product guidance and support to LPL Financial Advisors and to help Advisors grow sales in Retirement Plans and Institutional Opportunities.
Sales Support and Consulting: Product and solution consulting; Proposal generation; participation in and helping Advisors prepare for point of sale client meetings and presentations to prospects; leverage and work with sponsors' field teams to support point of sale meetings, enrollment, ongoing education, etc.Proactive Sales Campaigns: outbound calls, scheduled meetings, virtual study groups, group conference calls, promoting business building, sales and prospecting ideas, technical updates, etc.Advisor Training and Education: Collaboration with Retirement Marketing Manager and with Advisory and Brokerage Consulting teams to generate topics, provide content and help deliver training to Advisors; Participation in LPL Financial conferences such as Focus, regional events, Annual Retirement Symposium, etcBusiness Consulting: support for Advisors' efforts to streamline their business efficiency and profitability; assistance with and advice on client segmentation; etc.Provide technical guidance or source referrals to Advisors.
Assist Advisors with issue resolution.Act as intermediary with Strategic Development to respond to Advisors requests for new products, selling agreements, etc.Participate in home office visits with potential recruits, and participate with the transitions department in helping to integrate new Advisors and map/transition their books of business to LPL Financial.
