The Institute for Aging Research in Boston, affiliated with Harvard Medical School, is one of the most prestigious aging research facilities in the country.

HSL's NewBridge on the Charles, our premier multigenerational continuing care retirement community in Dedham, consists of 256 independent living units, 50 assisted living units, 41 memory support assisted living units, and a 268-bed Health Care Center, which offers long-term and sub-acute care.

Hebrew SeniorLife also offers services to the community, including Adult Day Health programs and outpatient clinics in audiology, exercise, memory disorders, osteoporosis screening, and rehabilitation.

Reporting directly to the Co-Director of Musculoskeletal Research, the Research Study Supervisor will oversee all aspects of the Foot Biomechanics Study research grant, including publications, personnel, budgets, meetings, intellectual property, and related endeavors.

Coordinate all phases of research, assist in the creation and management of appropriate infrastructure necessary to support the Project.

Keep all projects and priorities on timeline.

Ability to assess and prioritize information and requests related to overall project responsibilities, and facilitates communication within HSL, with Harvard and affiliates, with NIH and other funders, and with other outside organizations.

Works directly with the Principal Investigator to develop and write IRB protocols and renewals, progress reports, abstracts, sections of papers and grants, budgets and budget justifications and websites.

Develops and summarizes review of the literature as requested.

Assists PI with financial monitoring and budget tracking.

Works directly with the PI to hire and train staff for the grant.

Will monitor and evaluate non-faculty staff performance, and complete performance appraisals.

Position requires a minimum of a Master's degree with 5 years of previous research experience involving human subjects, including research management required.

The ideal candidate may have a PhD or advanced degree in biomedical field, epidemiology, biostatistics, etc. Must have research supervisory experience.

Previous experience coordinating studies required.

Must have strong computer skills.

Working knowledge of the regulations governing the conduct of human studies research.
