Qualifications: POSITION SUMMARY: POSITION SUMMARY:
Maintain and assist in keeping a safe and clean workplace
Operate high temperature/pressure/vacuum furnaces and ovens in support of customer requests for various Saint-Gobain business units.
Utilize experience to provide value add to customers through process improvement suggestions for furnacing, sintering, and heat treating needs.
Support customers needs with regards to profiling of high temperature processes data collection, calculations, and interpretation
Maintenance of furnaces including upkeep and training of equipment in multi-user area.
Conduct experiments and perform calculations as assigned in support of projects in ceramic or polymer processing
Administrative functions including but not limited to ordering, monthly reporting, and SOPs CBachelors or associates degree in a technical field required.
More than 5 years of work experience on high temperature processing equipment is desired.
Must have the ability to maintain and troubleshoot furnacing equipment (heating elements, hydraulics, high pressure systems, electrical controllers, etc).
Experience in data collection and with MSOffice applications is highly desirable.
The candidate will have a demonstrated skill in terms of continuous improvement as well as a willingness to cross train to meet changing team needs.
