Release Manager - Infrastructure and Operations Job in Stow , Massachusetts US

If you like to be challenged and consider yourself a go getter this is the company and the role for youWe are looking for an IT change manager who ensures the use of standardized methods and procedures for effective handling of all changes to the production environment.
A consistent approach to risk assessment, change impact, and change approval is essential for appropriate response to Requests for Change.
This approach maintains a proper balance between the need for a change and the timing of its integration into the production environmentThis position has the process responsibility for defining process objectives, analyzing the effectiveness of change management process and efficiency of procedures, and develops strategies for enhancing these processes in accordance with IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) best practices.The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities: You will be responsible to for authorizing all infrastructure changes to production, ensuring changes into production through controlled promotion processes or documented support procedures.
Chairs weekly change control meetings to understand cross functional impact and risk assessment to build forward schedule designed to provide cross-domain visibility of release items for internal IT teams and customers.
Operates at an advisory level, consistently interacting with IT and business partners with the ability to deliver communication succinctly and clearly to both.
This person audits the process, manages change schedules and updates and present change metrics in order to assist with the evaluation of release quality.
Architecting the configuration management process and procedures to develop and mature change and configuration management as central core discipline.
Skills Required Knowledge and Skills: You will thrive under pressure and will enjoy work that is technically challenging and fast paced At least 2-3 years of technical change management experience within a large and complex environment Superior negotiation skills when working with other IT groups (Application development, Infrastructure) groups and with the Customer.
Strong analytical, Process formulation and Data modeling skills Solid understanding of ITIL (ITIL Service Management Certification preferred) Ability to roll up their sleeves and get it done attitude Project and people management skills Good verbal and written communication skills, and statistical analysis Education
