This is agrowth position.

The selected individual will be responsible for the day-to-dayoperational management of the firms activities in this technical service areaincluding large Federal projects.

The firms Federal Services Group isexperiencing significant growth due to the firms classification as a VACertified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business.

Continued growth isexpected in both the firms private and Federal sectors.

Skills RequiredSuccessfulcandidates should possess: Minimum of 10+ years experience in asbestos and lead-regulated building materials project management as a consultant, including management/oversight of multiple inspection projects and project monitoring personnel.

Experience with applicable Federal, state and local regulations.

Currently licensed in Massachusetts and eligible for other state licenses as: Asbestos Inspector, Asbestos Project Monitor, Asbestos Project Designer, and Asbestos Management Planner.

Multiple New England state licensing a plus.

Licenses and certifications to perform lead-paint surveys using portable X-ray fluorescence methods.

Experienced with identification of other regulated building materials and associated regulations.

Excellent writing and analytical skills and attention to detail.

Experienced in the preparation of inspection reports, asbestos abatement specifications, abatement cost estimates, bid packages, asbestos abatement contractor due diligence and associated coordination.

Excellent personal interface and communications abilities including experience leading large field efforts and dealing with contractors, architects, and regulators.

A Bachelors degree in safety, environmental or earth sciences, or engineering.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office® products: Word®, Access®, and Excel®.

Although notrequired, the following are also desirable: Multiple state licenses/certifications in the above-referenced asbestos categories.

AutoCAD experience.

Health and safety experience.

Project experience in medical treatment-facilities, manufacturing industry sectors, as well as Federal government/Department of Defense projects.

ResponsibilitiesThis individualwill project manage and lead our asbestos, lead paint and regulated buildingmaterials efforts.

This is a hands-on position involving travel to andoversight of multiple projects in the New Englandarea and beyond.

The successful candidate will respond to client requests,prepare scopes of work and cost estimates/proposals, conductsurveys/inspections, and prepare reports including inspection reports andO&M plans with suitable corrective action options.

In addition, thesuccessful candidate will prepare abatement estimates, developspecifications/bid packages, identify suitable contractors, and oversee/manageasbestos and lead paint, etc. abatement projects.

This will include thesupervision of project monitors and inspectors.

Base LocationThis position isbased in the Jersey City metropolitan areabut will include travel throughout New England and other specific project workopportunities on a short-term basis throughout the United States.
