Registered Nurses (RN) needed to teach VN Program FT (Theory/Clinical) Are you an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) who would like to make a career of helping other people start theirs? American Career College (ACC) has been helping people succeed for over 30 years, and we are currently recruiting Registered Nurses (RN) to be instructors for our Vocational Nursing Program.
If you like to be part of our team-oriented environment, we have full time (Theory/Clinical) teaching positions available at our Los Angeles Campus.
You will need excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to instruct classes and motivate students to learn.
Your coaching skills will be needed to advise and tutor students through regular office hours and ad hoc sessions.
To be really successful in this environment, youll use your ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment, while still providing high quality service and a great attention to detail.
Although not absolutely necessary, the successful candidate would benefit from experience in teaching at a vocational school.
You must have a current RN license, CPR card, strong clinical skills, and a Bachelors degree with a minimum of 3 years RN experience.
Although prior Instructor experience is desired, we are willing to train qualified Registered Nurses (RN) to become Instructors.
