Regional Service Consultant Job in Dallas, Texas US
Position DescriptionRegional Service Consultant Clyde Bergemann Power Group, Inc, an international manufacturer of boiler cleaning equipment is seeking a Field Service Tech/Consultant, which is a full time direct hire position located in the Dallas (TX) area.
80-90% travel to Utilities and Pulp and Paper facilities throughout the US, mostly in southwest region.
General Activities include: Inspection, repair, upgrade, install and startup boiler cleaning equipment, port cleaner and air pollution control equipment on industrial boilers in the pulp & paper and utility industries.
Responsibilities /tasks include: Perform walk down and inspectionsPerform equipment repairs and installations mechanical and electricalSupervise equipment repairs, installations, and equipment upgradesOrganize and Supervise labor crews for outage support, new installations and equipment upgrades Knowledge, skills, and abilities required: Multi craft maintenance mechanical & electrical (50% mechanical and 50% electrical).
Mechanical experience with gearboxes, motors, motor starters, rack & pinion, etc.Instrument and Control (I&C) experienceRead/interpret mechanical drawings/schematicsRead/ interpret electrical drawings /schematics and use Digital Multi MeterBasic computer skillsMust have valid drivers license and clean driving recordMust pass pre employment drug screen Previous boiler experience in the Utility or Pulp and Paper Industry a plus.
