Regional Sales Manager - Foodservice (606) Job in Phoenix, Arizona US

We are a division of Smithfield Foods, a leading processor and marketer of processed meats in the US Job Description: The Regional Sales Manager Foodservice is accountable for managing the pre-established Food Broker Sales network; maintaining and growing existing business as well as generating new accounts.
The Regional Sales Manager Foodservice interacts with category management and business development teams and has financial and volume responsibility to maintain and grow the Armour-Eckrich Meats base business within the assigned geography.
The Regional Sales Manager Foodservice controls all elements of the sales process within the region from sales presentations, forecasting, customer business reviews to broker training and evaluations.
Accountabilities: Manages and develops sales brokers.
Actively engages with distributor and operator customers to drive incremental salesConducts sales training and presentations.
Collaborate with customers and perform business reviews as needed.
Provides broker training and evaluates broker performance.
Acts as a technical representative to the customer, providing training and creating sales presentations, providing solutions to business issues facing the customer.
Leads the coordination of multiple resources to successfully close sales on new accounts.
Develops regional sales plan and sets strategy for the region.
Responsible for forecasting the sales volume within assigned region.
Fiscal accountability to work within an assigned budget.
