Regional Program Director-Northeast Territory Job in New York, New York US
Matrix Medical Network offers high-risk member management services to health plans throughout the country.
Our special programs are focused on improving health care to the medically complex, chronically ill, geriatric patient.
We hire nurse practitioners to lead these programs and complete clinical assessments on patients in their homes or in long-term care settings.
Our company is growing and we are seeking experienced directors to help provide leadership and support to our team of NPs in the northeast territory, including New York City and Rhode Island.
This career-based position is directly responsible for clinical staff supervision and management, customer service, community outreach, business development and budgetary performance.
A hands on, high energy approach is necessary to effectively direct our teams of nurse practitioners.
Job responsibilities: *Manage day-to-day operational functions for designated staff and when necessary perform own case load of clinical assessments*Assist in screening and interviewing new employees*Supervise and monitor the performance and skills of the mid-level clinical staff*Assist the interdisciplinary group in setting priorities in an effort to attain goals*Identify potential growth opportunities, conduct business development functions, marketing and outreach to increase practices market penetration*Provide education and training for new and existing mid-level providers*Act as a liaison when needed with the companys clients Job requirements: *Current NP license*Knowledge of long-term care and geriatrics*Demonstrated leadership skills*Minimum of 3 years experience in a directors role managing staff*Prior success in managing teams, mentoring and developing professional staff*Prior experience in adult teaching a plus*Excellent organizational skills*Ability and willingness to travel a minimum of 50% in assigned territory *Ability to work in a dynamic environment while effectively handling multiple competing priorities If interested in further information, please email CV to jobs [at] matrixhealth [dot] net or contact Vicky Rinehart at 877-564-3627.
