Regional Military Tactical Sales Manager Job in Killeen, Texas US
Regional Military Equipment Sales Manager DescriptionWS Darley is a 102 year old, family-run business that is rapidly expanding its growth into the Special Operations/Tactical market.
We have been awarded a Tailored Logistics Support Program (formerly known as Prime Vendor) contact for Special Operational Equipment by the Defense Logistics Agency, and are expanding our Defense Division to serve that market.
Darley became an established leader in the First Responder community by providing superior products and service, and by earning the trust of our customers.
We are in the process of building the same sterling reputation in the Special Operations/Tactical community, and we are seeking the RIGHT members for our team.
DutiesPresent appropriate equipment and procurement solutions to military units within your assigned territory.
Manage a sales plan for your assigned territory to meet sales goals.
Coordinate sales activities with local units and manufacturers.
Generate quotes for equipment needs.
Maintain customer relations.
Provide reports to headquarters as required.
Qualifications 2-5 years of sales to military, recent military experience may be substituted.
E-8 or above with familiarity of tactical equipment preferred.
Bachelor degree preferred.
Excellent communication and computer skills.
Must display initiative and innovation in working with customers.
Ability to develop own leads.
Ability to meet with customers during all weather conditions.
Ability to work non-standard hours.
Compensation Base salary plus commission Medical, Dental, 401K, vacation
