TITLE: Program Manager Senior I (Regional Director) STATUS OF POSITION: Full-Time Permanent, Management Service SALARY: Grade 23 - $62,741 - $91,584 LOCATION: METRO - Montgomery and Prince George's Counties, Maryland DUTIES: This is a senior leadership position that directs and coordinates all community case management and residential facility operations and services in Montgomery and Prince George's Counties in Maryland.
This position ensures the effective operation of all field and residential services for youth including intake, diversion, probation, aftercare, detention and committed placements.
The Regional Director oversees and manages personnel and financial resources, develops short and long range plans for operations and resources and determines organization structure and staffing needs.
The position is responsible for coordination with external stakeholders including courts, law enforcement, and other public agencies.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree from an accredited four year college or university.
An Associate of Arts degree in the social or behavioral sciences or criminal justice from an accredited college or university and two years of experience providing direct services to children in a community or residential setting may be substituted for the required Bachelor's degree.
EXPERIENCE: Nine years of experience consisting of: Five years of direct care experience including providing case management services to emotionally or socially maladjusted, delinquent, victimized, or special needs juveniles in a community or residential setting.
Four years of experience exercising supervisory or managerial responsibility for line and/or managerial staff providing services to juveniles.
