Recruiting ManagerCambridge, MAFull Time Position Summary: The Recruiting Manager will be responsible for managing the recruitment team and recruitment process within the specific Business Unit(s) and/or job functions on a day to day basis, up to and including: sourcing, interviewing, qualifying, negotiating offers and hiring of candidates.
The incumbent will also be accountable for meeting hiring goals set by the Vice President of Global Recruiting.
Establish best in-class recruitment practices in order to meet company expectations on quality, fit of candidates in a cost competitive and innovative approach; as well as, ensure compliance in all recruitment and hiring processes on a business unit level.
Specifically, the Recruiting Manager will: Design, develop, communicate and manage strategic workforce plan for specific business unit or job typePlan, manage, measure and evaluate recruiting efforts and strategy for specific BU or job typeWork with HRBP and Hiring Manager on people strategyManage Recruiters, people and performance Manage metrics and reportsBe involved in and manage senior level BU or functional searchesLead global coordination of employment operations Key Result Areas: Develop and implement effective recruiting strategy for specific Business Unit/job type/geography which includes initiatives and special projects such as employee referral and compensation programs, as well as postings, direct sourcing/cold calling and networking strategy that drives the workforce plan.
Serve as Business Units functional expert on employment by building strong relationships with the various departments and hiring managers, ensuring ability to influence, guide and drive the recruiting process as well as provide current Pega market information and strategy to hiring managers to educate them on external market variablesPartner with HR Business Partners, Director of Compensation and Benefits, and Business Unit Leaders to ensure all workforce needs are aligned.
Responsible for management of the recruitment life cycle process by working as liaison between hiring managers and HR staff.
Establish and utilize metrics to evaluate recruiting performance, continuously improve recruiting initiatives and to strategically use the candidate tracking system.
Provide benchmarking and best practices to support hiring goals of business unit.
Manage recruiters, recruiting coordinators and administrative support as well as manage external search partners as neededBuild and maintain a strong recruitment team through effective selection, training, coaching, team building and succession planning.
Prepare and participate in the preparation of staff performance and development plans.
Assess the skills and skill levels necessary to achieve recruiting objectives.
Successful creation and implementation of recruitment initiatives and special programs (ie- employee referral programs)Responsible for developing sourcing strategies; performing interviews and candidate assessments; and developing offer package recommendations and closing strategies in tandem with hiring manager for senior level candidates.
Lead Global coordination of employment operations for business unit/job type/function.
Execute cost-effective staffing strategies for the respective business units to ensure they are alignedwith company goals and objectives and within the cost-per-hire recruitment parameters.
Develop, administer and revise recruitment practices and procedures as required.
