Job Purpose: Achieves staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates; advising managers; managing relocations and intern program.

General Description: Under the direction of the Market Manager, the Recruiter/Staffing Manager is responsible for generating revenue through placements in their geographical area.

The Recruiter/Staffing Manager will maintain daily communication with the Market Manager and Recruiters.

Additional daily/weekly requirements are as follows: Develop and maintain relationships with local and national clients in the assigned regionMaintain contact with candidates on a regular basisAttend and participate in weekly staff and marketing meetings Essential Job Functions: · Assist Market Manager in organizing, preparing and implementing candidate and client marketing strategies for their specific region· Secure placements of traveling therapists at medical facilities in their respective regions· Maintain an acceptable gross profit margin on placements· Establish new relationships with clients via phone calls, client meetings and networking events· Develop an expertise in the economic and recreational aspects of the region· Maintain current knowledge of JCAHO standards as they relate to the staffing and marketing function· Maintain and improve existing relationships with clients via phone calls, client meetings and networking events· Properly match qualified candidates to open job orders while updating Weekly Hot List and Weekly Pipeline List· Maintain client and candidate activity in company database (TRM)· Maintain an effective relationship with the Recruiters in an effort to place candidates· Identify and secure new sources of clients through cold calling 1-4 hours per day· Complete activity, financial and statistical reports as required· In conjunction with recruiter, assist compliance specialist in completing background checks and securing required compliance forms and information· Establish and maintain relationships with hiring managers to stay abreast of current and future business needs· Inform new field employees about facility requirements, dress code, orientation and productivity requirements relating to new assignments Manage therapists that have been placed on assignment: · Maintain an ongoing relationship with working therapists· Keep thorough notes in company database of all contact made with employees and clients· Communicate with Recruiters regarding possible extensions for employees, or other job opportunities for once the employees have completed assignments· Resolve problems as they arise with assistance of Market Manager· Assist Payroll and billing specialist by obtaining timesheets and verifying accuracy Minimum Skills, Knowledge & Talents: · Knowledge of principles and procedures for candidate recruitment, selection, compensation and benefits · Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Internet Job Boards· Basic knowledge of business and management principles involved in recruiting, staffing, production methods and human resources· Knowledge of proper grammar, spelling and rules of composition· Knowledge of principles and methods for selling recruiting services; this includes marketing strategy and tactics, sales techniques, and sales management systems· Ability to work effectively independently and with other team members· Ability to organize and complete work in a timely manner· Must show attention to detail· Must have capacity building mindset or willingness to learn and change with the organizationDuties: * Enhances staff accomplishments and competence by planning delivery of solutions; answering technical and procedural questions for less experienced team members; teaching improved processes; mentoring team members.

* Establishes recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives; meeting with managers to discuss needs.

* Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport.

* Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.

* Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements; contacting recruiters, using newsgroups and job sites.

* Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.

* Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules; arranges travel, lodging, and meals; escorting applicant to interviews; arranging community tours.

* Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications.

* Manages new employee relocation by determining new employee requirements; negotiating with movers; arranging temporary housing; providing community introductions.

* Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; emphasizing benefits and perks.

* Manages intern program by conducting orientations; scheduling rotations and assignments; monitoring intern job contributions; coaching interns; advising managers on training and coaching.

* Avoids legal challenges by understanding current legislation; enforcing regulations with managers; recommending new procedures; conducting training.

* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

* Accomplishes human resources and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
